He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Psalm 91:1, 2
No matter who we are, no matter what our education, no matter what our wealth and no matter what our nationality is, sometime along our journey through life death comes to us all. It may be the death of our career, our money, our desires, our marriage, our friends, our family or eventually our lives. But right here is where grace in Jesus Christ can make a difference. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Grace is God's love being experienced; it can bring a new creation to our emotions and our thoughts right in the midst of a heart ache. Death does happen and in fact it will happen, but grace lets us know that it is not the end of the story. Today rejoice in his love, allowing yourself to express words of thanksgiving no matter where you may be found, to the one who has poured out his grace upon you. His grace is your place of rest. “I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Enjoy! |
