From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely as the work of his hands rewards him. Proverbs 12:14
As we mature along our journey through life we learn the value and joy of working hard, at least for most of us. Our labor can provide us with income that will bless us and our families. But sometimes along our journey we forget the income that comes from our mouth. With it we express through words, tones and expressions the attitude of our heart. It is here where grace can be experienced with great refreshment. Grace changes everything, in that it reveals our motives about ourselves and others. This being true we have the privilege of being aware of words, tones and expressions that are less than outstanding. We then have the wonderful opportunity to have our attitudes be expressions of grace. On this new day may you rejoice in the work of your hands, but especially rejoice in what grace sounds like as it is being spoken and expressed through your life and character. You will like it and it will put a smile on your face as well as those around you.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. Psalm 23:1
In these simple words we see the change in thinking and emotions, from a belief system about God to a relationship overwhelmed by his grace. Here he is seen as the Shepherd, the one who cares intimately about the details of our life. Grace lets you know that this is more than a statement; it is a fact about our relationship with the Lord. Stress, worry, anxiety and condemnation have no home or place here. In the beginning of this new day, may you have words and expressions that celebrate that he is caring for the details of your life. Relax, smile and rejoice with praise to the one whose goal is to bless you. Enjoy!

But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 NLT
Grace always comes to us with the blood of Christ on it. When received it removes the veil of unbelief and brings the joy of being unconditionally loved. Grace lets us see ourselves as our Lord see’s us, being changed into his radiant image. In this freedom there is no longer condemnation and fear about who we are, instead rejoicing in the amazing gift of God’s grace which is his Spirit living within us. On this new day may you rejoice in the freedom of his love and celebrate who you are because of Jesus the Christ. Take time to praise his name and consider the power of his love for you that is changing you into the beautiful image of his grace, Jesus the Christ.

Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean. Hebrews 10:22
Sometimes along our journey we feel or have some kind of sense that God is not interested in the details of our lives. That feeling is real, but it is not telling us the truth. Again we have in God's Word a wonderful picture of his grace working in and through our lives. We are invited to come into his presence with all our emotions and intellect, allowing this living grace to express itself, knowing he is in the details of our life. Here again we are reminded that we now have no condemnation, guilt or shame because God’s grace always has the blood of Christ on it. So on this new day, may you enjoy your journey of grace and go right into his presence with the details of your life. As you do, fell free to rejoice with the attitude of thanksgiving, it will bless you in all the right ways. Enjoy!

I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Philemon 5,6
One of the magnificent wonders of God’s grace is the giving of a living faith. It is not a belief system or set of standards by which we judge ourselves as well as others. But a faith that lives in and through us and can be recognized as a love for people. This faith is very real, in fact it is called – Your Faith. Let’s face it, most people know us by what is ours. So, if faith in Jesus the Christ is actually yours, the Word of God says – “I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith.” Faith that is active is filled with joy, encouragement and is very refreshing to everyone around. This activity opens the door so that you may begin to understand every good thing you have in Jesus the Christ. So on this new day, relax and let your living faith express itself so naturally that you and everyone else will be refreshed in the midst of your journey. This is a good day for joy and encouragement and it is our Lords gift to you.

My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:7,8
Many times along our journey we will have situations arise that are less than outstanding, in fact they are downright difficult. We wonder what others are thinking about us or if only we had a better job or more money we could finally find some relief. Well, God’s grace found in and through Jesus the Christ is much more powerful, much more refreshing and much more renewing than anything else. It is the truth that freedom emotionally and intellectually is in that life that is called eternal. Here faith is not a belief system, it is a confidence in God that releases thanksgiving and praise right in the middle of the storm. On this new day that has been given to you, may you know for sure that your salvation, your honor and your freedom are secure in the grace of Christ. A refuge is a place of blessing and your refuge is not in a location, it is in the very life of God. Pour out your heart to him and get ready to rejoice.

This is what the LORD says - your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself. Isaiah 44:24
Sometimes along our journey things take place in our lives that in reality, flat out overwhelm us. It may be choices we have made that we wish we would have never made. Well here is some very good news. God's grace lets you know that there is nothing that has come your way that he cannot bring out for your good. Grace changes how and what we love and therefore our choices become, shall we say, a lot more enjoyable. On this new day may you remember and enjoy the freedom and power of his grace in your life. This day your choices are covered in grace and therefore you are free from the past condemnation that keeps trying to haunt you. Grace will let you enjoy your life without fear and you will know the joy of being renewed in the love of your Redeemer. There is nothing in your past that he cannot reform for his glory and your blessing. You and everyone around you will experience the beauty and freedom of his grace on this new day.

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me. Psalm 139:17,18 NLT
How freeing it is to know the love of God that is given in and through his grace in Jesus the Christ. Living in his love frees us from our old nature of irritations, anxiety and all forms of lust. Here, thanksgiving is alive in and through our emotions and thoughts, which become actions and words of encouragement to all around us. When we actually believe - "precious are your thoughts about me, O God," we will find ourselves in a place where smiling and joy have become our nature. On this new day may this scripture not just be some kind of statement, but a discription and desire of who you are. If that is the case, this day along with those that will come, will be overwhelmed with life, goodness and grace. Please allow yourself the freedom to enjoy!
