How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!  I John 3:1 NIV

Talk about grace, God has lavished his love on us so that we may know, not guess or wish for, but know that we are children of God.  This is not a theoretical or theology concept but a very real life that comes from his love. How great is the love the Father has lavished on us.  Lavished means to give something extravagantly, generously or excessively, WOW! He is a Father who loves, who brings joy and who gives life that is called righteous and eternal.  We experience all this through his grace on the cross of Jesus the Christ.  Today enjoy your life as a man or woman of God because of Jesus Christ.  How great the love is the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. So let his peace, let his joy, let his kindness and let his encouragement have its way in your thinking, actions and emotions.  Praise his name in everything you do and allow yourself to be lavished in his love. Your day could be renewing and refreshed in all the right ways! Enjoy!

So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord... who has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace2 Timothy 1:8, 9 NIV

When God's grace comes to us and we receive it, there is a result of a holy life. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord… who has saved us and called us to a holy life.  To be holy we must begin with Jesus the Christ.  He is the root and beginning of all holiness. That very word, Holy is beyond normal compression to most people. But it is just what grace does in a man or woman, whether they understand it or not.  Not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.  The way to be holy is to come to Lord by grace through faith.  He not only washes away the condemnation of our sin by his own blood, but he also delivers us from the power of our own sin. The result - he puts a new love in our heart (holiness) and that makes us practically a man or woman of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life.  Today, enjoy being relaxed in the grace of God's love for you.  Actually living in his grace will bring refreshment to your life which will be a blessing for others who live and work around you.  There is absolutely no tension in grace. Your very breath today can bring praise to God. Enjoy!

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.  And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.  And this hope will not lead to disappointment.  For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.  Romans 5:3-5 NLT

The only way we can rejoice, when we run into problems and trials is because of God’s grace given through Jesus Christ declaring we are now righteousWe can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. It does seem that most everything that will bring some long lasting satisfaction to our life requires endurance of some kind.  Endurance seems to go hand in hand with at least some form of pain, it may be emotional, mental or physical.  Think of the effort of fine tuning of our physical body, or the challenge of education for the right career and even a good marriage requires the working of a love that at times feels like pain. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment.  When we allow God’s grace to give direction in our thinking and emotions, our experiences through problems produce an attitude that will be a blessing to us as well as those around us.  Today take God at his Word so that you will not have that horrible feeling of disappointment and overall depression.  Grace will let you not only believe but experience his love for you on this brand new day.  For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.  His love is refreshing in some of the most unbelievable circumstances.  Take a good deep breath of his grace and then verbalize your thanksgiving and praise.  You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

This is what the LORD says: "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the LORD.  Jeremiah 9:23,24 NIV

When the grace of Jesus the Christ touchs a human soul, that man or woman is on a new journey which can only be called a new creartion, 2 Corinthians 5:17,18. For everything that is the focus in our natural nature is always about our education, our strengh and our money.  And yet even while boasting about them, their seems to be such unhappiness, anger, irritations, frustration and emotions of brokeness in our society.  Grace gives us something to boast about and that is that the LORD has found us so that we can understand and know Him, not just believe in Him and to know Him changes everything in us. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. WOW!!! Romans 8:29 NLT.  This boasting is to bring about refreshment to us and for everyone around us.  To know Him is relational and therefore we become living expressions of His Grace - kindness, justice and righteousness on this earth.  So on this brand new day let His grace overwhelm you so that you may enjoy who you have become in the grace of Jesus the Christ. Your Boast will be found in Him without any condemnation of what you once were.  This is a really good day to boast that you understand and know the LORD who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth.  Enjoy!

Kind words are like honey – sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

Proverbs 16:24 NLT

Words, what overwhelming power they have. Think of how many broken relationships have taken place because of words and tones that had nothing to do with kindness. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. James 3:9 NIV.   What is so amazing about God’s grace is the new creation it brings to our thinking and emotions which changes our words, tones and the expressions on our face into blessings. Kind words are like honey – sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.  Would you like your emotions to feel better, then ask God to pour out his grace upon you through Jesus Christ.  You will find a joy coming from you that sounds like - Kind words are like honey – sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.  Today let this grace be expressed through you and you will experience a joy that you had only dreamed of.  The souls of men and women around you are waiting for this blessing.  Enjoy!

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.  Galatians 5:13 NLT

We are a nation that is all about freedom, but what we are now calling freedom is anything but freedom. For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. Yet as a nation we seem to be losing our freedom and becoming enslaved to actions, attitudes, morals and emotions that are destructive to our families, our neighborhoods, our churches and even our nation. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature.  It isn’t just alcohol, drugs and all forms of immorality, but also violence in our attitude and actions. What is ironic is the more someone asserts his or her self-centered so called freedom, the more he or she becomes enslaved to their own sin. But there is a prescription for freedomit is the grace of God found in Jesus Christ. So if the Son of God sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 NIV. This freedom of grace is not a belief system; it is a life that penetrates the very foundation of our emotions and thoughts, it is called a new creation. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.  Today enjoy your freedom of grace that has been given to you through Jesus the Christ. Let your day be free in grace so that you know your old habits and addiction (attitude and actions) are no longer a definition of who you are. Your freedom in Christ will bless you and bring refreshment to everyone around you, and boy could our world use some of that!  Enjoy!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him

Colossians 3:17 NIV

Being overwhelmed by God’s grace through Jesus Christ is a transformation that takes place within the desires of our heart and mind.  Instead of words, tones or deeds that are less than refreshing, grace gives a new desire of expressing in whatever we do with our words or with our deeds they are expressons of thanks to God. Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Words and actions of grace will refresh and encourage you and others through their life and that will always bless you! Emotions that live in grace are always renewing and bring a great relief of thanksgiving.  Today, may the life of His grace come out of your mouth very naturally and be expressed on your face.  The joy you will experience and the refreshment it will bring will absolutely delight you. When this verse is a description of who you are, then you will have an outstanding day, and your relationships will have an emotion called joy. Enjoy!

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.  Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous.  He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

Romans 3:23, 24 NLT

This verse is God’s description of His gift to us, while we are in a less than stellar situation.  For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard which means we all have found in our nature the results of that.  Jealousy, lust, irritations, anxiety, anger, feelings of criticism along with all forms of judgment concerning ourselves and others have come to us naturally.  There is not enough money or education in the world that can remove these things from how we feel.  But when we take God at his Word and receive his gift of grace (undeserved kindness) that is given to us in Jesus the Christ all things begin to change. Through Jesus Christ it is God who declares that we are righteous.   Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. Righteousness first gift is deliverance from guilt and then deliverance from the power of our own sin. In righteousness emotions of condemnation end and grace replaces it with new emotions of encouragement, peace and joy. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty of our sins. In grace there is a blessing of joy that can be lived and experienced through our life. Today enjoy the life of grace that is yours because of Jesus Christ.  Let your mind experience the emotions of joy as your words and tones express rejoicing and praise.  If you are willing to receive his undeserved kindness through Christ Jesus, you will understand the blessing of his compassion and your life will become a wonderful fragrance to your family, your friends and those you meet.  Enjoy!

So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work.  Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God.  Ecclesiastes 2:24 NLT

One of the great benefits of the grace of Jesus Christ is that it gives us the ability to find thanksgiving in the everyday things of life. So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work.  Just look at our newspapers, our news channels and think how much complaining, grumbling, stress and anxiety go on in our time so that we forget how to be thankful and enjoy what we do have. We were meant to enjoy the simple things such as eating, drinking and all those taste buds in our mouth that are just waiting to express themselves.  Grace can celebrate these individual moments with an attitude of thanksgiving (Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus) and that changes everything from how we feel to how we think.  Today let yourself find pleasure in the smallest things along your journey.  You, your family, your friends and those you come in contact with will be renewed through your attitude of grace.  Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God.  Enjoy!

I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation.  I do not conceal your love and your truth from those I meet.

Psalm 40:10 NIV

What happens to the life of a man or woman who has received the grace of God in Jesus Christ? God made him (Jesus the Christ) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.  2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV. Therefore I do not hide your righteousness in my heart. Your righteousness in my heart gives us a beautiful view of our life without condemnation or shame in our emotions and our thinking. I speak of your faithfulness and salvation.  With that in place, our faith in our Lord brings about a peace and joy in our journey and others are then blessed with his love through us. i do not conceal your love and your truth from those I meet.    When God’s righteousness has been received and become what we are, relationships can be rebuilt and renewed. Today let his grace and love continue to overwhelm you as you speak of God’s faithfulness and salvation.  In his grace your life can say –  I do not hide your righteousness in my heart, I do not conceal your love and your truth from those I meet.  Those you meet today will be very blessed to experience God’s grace for them through you. Enjoy!

Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence.  And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him.  And this is his commandment:  We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us1 John 3:21-23 NLT

It is amazing to think of the heartaches we go through when we have emotions full of condemnation.  In the Word of God we can see again the power of His grace in Jesus Christ that gives us no condemnation, no guilt and no shame. Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  Romans 8:1 NIV.   Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence.  Grace gives us new life, with a joy of a relationship with the Lord that is secure, good and refreshing as each new day comes. These words are overwhelming because of grace – And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. What is it that pleases God?  We must believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another.  Let your faith in Jesus Christ continue to overwhelm you in his grace.  You will experience a bold confidence in your life that will refresh you as well as others. Those around you will begin to feel loved and you will experience a joy that cannot be contained. Enjoy!

Because God’s children are human beings - made of flesh and blood - the Son also became flesh and blood.  For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.  Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.  Hebrews 2:14, 15 NLT

Right here is the beautiful definition of the Grace of God!!!  Our salvation, our redemption was an act of God’s grace poured out from His Righteoussness and Holiness.  When we live in God’s amazing grace, the power of our natural sin nature is broken so that we can rejoice, delight and give thanks in our freedom from our own past slavery!!! It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.  Sand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1 NIV.  May you enjoy this new day in the freedom and love of God’s grace knowing that the slavery of our former sinful addictions have been broken so that we are now free to live as a new creation in Jesus the Christ!!!  For only as a human being could he (Jesus the Christ) die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. ENJOY

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.  For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church.  Ephesians 5:21, 22, 25 NLT

To submit is a strange word in our culture. To even consider it out of duty or obligation is something our nature does not enjoy and makes us feel agitated, sometimes feeling inferior and in time gets exhausting. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.   In Grace, submitting or loving has to do with our reverence for Jesus the Christ. The nature of grace is love, which is to esteem, encourage, give honor and respect to others along their journey. Therefore submitting has to do with esteeming, encouraging, giving honor and respecting others.  So for wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord, out of reverence for Christ.  For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church, out of reverence for Christ.  When submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ has become who we are, then relationships can be built through the grace and love of Christ, we then experience great encouragement along with its cousin joy.  Today, allow the beauty of God’s grace to be living and speaking through you.  In this place you will find no burden, no guilt, and no regret.  You and your family will feel and rejoice in being renewed. Enjoy!

Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.  Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.  Put on your new nature, created to be like God - truly righteous and holyEphesians 4:21-24 NLT

The grace that is given in Jesus the Christ gives the power to throw off our old sinful nature as the major controller of our conscience and emotions. Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life.  Marriages, neighborhoods, the work place, the church and our communities are in trouble not because of God's grace, but because of our old sinful nature. Our former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. The grace of Jesus Christ brings a new nature so that we can learn the truth that comes from him.  In God's grace we can find ourselves being refreshed each day in how we feel and think. Put on your new nature, created to be like God – truly righteous and holy. Today allow yourself to experience the great joy of knowing his grace. In grace, righteous, holy, praise and thanksgiving will come naturally and you will see your life through the eyes of God. If you are willing to live in his grace, this might just be one of the best days of your life. Enjoy!

God's law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were.  But as people sinned more and more, God's wonderful grace became more abundant.  So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God's wonderful grace rules instead, giving us a right standing with  God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Romans 5:20, 21 NLT

Sin is universal and is found in every group of people on the earth. God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were.  Sin wants no authority but itself and can express itself in many ways, all of which bring brokenness and death.  After all, what is lust, bitterness, anger, resentment, criticism, gossip, all of which bring tension to our relationships in our home, our work place, our community and our churches? But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.  God’s grace recreates our nature and gives what is known as “eternal life” which changes our thinking and emotions which brings about actions of kindness, harmony and joy.  So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us a right standing with God. With that being the case in a man or woman, relationships can be renewed.  Today, enjoy that life that is called eternal through Jesus the Christ.  It has been given and provided for you through God’s wonderful grace. Take a breath of his grace, then relax, look up and give thanks to the Lord.  You will see, hear and respond so much better, that you will feel like all things have become new again, it is just how a life of God’s wonderful grace is. Enjoy!

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness.  Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing.  My brothers, this should not be.  James 3:9, 10 NIV

Are there not moments in our life when even we are stunned by what just came out of our mouth? With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. My brothers, this should not be. The grace that has been given in our Lord Jesus Christ is meant to bring about a new life in us and therefore a new way in how we speak to one another. Since grace is filled with kindness and encouragement, we are given the opportunities to speak words of grace to others on a very consistent level.  In other words, expressions of blessings, encouragement and refreshment become not just what we say but actually who we are in the grace of our Lord.  Today choose to live in the newness of his grace.  Let the expressions on your face, the tones of your voice and the words from your mouth be full of kindness to everyone you meet.  If something other than a blessing comes from your mouth, grace will let you repent in joy immediately. So go ahead, bless your family, your co-workers and those you meet along your way.  Grace gives you the joy to express yourself so that it brings delight to you and a refreshing joy to others. Enjoy!

My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him for God is our refuge.  Psalm 62:7, 8 NIV

There is nothing more life changing to a man or a woman than the grace of God. My salvation and my honor depend on God. Grace brings a confident reality to our emotions and intellect. He is my mighty rock, my refuge. God’s grace found through Jesus the Christ is much more powerful, much more refreshing and much more renewing than any situation we may find ourselves in. O people, pour out your hearts to him for God is our refuge. You see faith in God is not a belief system; it is a living confidence in God and his Word that releases thanksgiving and praise right in the middle of life’s opportunities. Trust in him at all times.  Today has been given to you, may you know for sure that your salvation, your honor, your life and your futuire are secure in the grace of Christ.  A refuge is a place of blessing and your refuge is not in a location, it is in the very life of God.  Pour out your heart to him and get ready to rejoice.  Enjoy!

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.  Genesis 2:24 NIV

God’s plan for mankind has always been grace, for grace brings about a love which produces joy in our relationships.  Sin on the other hand is caustic in its emotions, its thoughts and its words, bringing destruction to relationships.  The actions of sin have destroyed many marriages and families along the journey.  But the love found in Jesus the Christ is that grace can overwhelm sin, for it was given in the power of the blood of Christ.  Emotions of grace, words of grace and expressions of grace can renew love and life to marriages, families and communities. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. This is so wonderful because it is our Lord's design for all mankind!!! You see grace gives life to us in the very center of our being to love well.  Grace can take two and overwhelm them in love so that they become one.  Today may you laugh a lot, encourage a lot and forgive a lot in your life of grace. This day of grace can bring unity, kindness and blessings to your relationships within your family through you.  Enjoy

But to you who are willing to listen, I say, Love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you.  Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. Luke 6:27, 28 NLT

God’s Grace is amazing and overwhelming.  Grace is a gift that God gives through Jesus Christ to anyone who is willing to receive it by faith.  Grace is God’s life that is given so that we may have a new life, not a reconditioned life. So Jesus says to the man or woman who has received His grace – But to you who are willing to listen, I say…  A life of Grace has no regret because it brings about a new creation, the character of God implanted within the soul of a man or woman, it is to be born again and it is a life that is called eternal in Jesus the Christ.  So a question, what is the impact of Grace on a man or woman’s life in the Word of God?  A Grace life says – love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you.  Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. When we act upon what Jesus has said a renewal begins. Today may you be willing to listen!  What will you choose as your attitude for this day?  A life lived in Grace will bring you no regret, at all!  Enjoy!

Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.  For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean.  Hebrews 10:22 NLT

Sometimes through life we don't have a good feeling or thought about who we are or where we are. There me be times when we have some kind of thought that even God is condemning us and is not interested in who we feel.  That feeling or thought is real, but it is not telling us the truth.  Right here we have in God's Word the results of his grace working in our lives. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean.  We are invited to come into his presence with all our emotions and intellect because he has made us cleanLet us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.  Today, choose to enjoy your journey of grace and go right into his presence with a guilt free conscience because of the grace of Christ.  As you do, feel free to celebrate with the attitude of thanksgiving, it will release joy!  Enjoy!
