To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:25,28
It is an amazing journey we are all on, when we think that the mention of God has to do with some kind of religion. As if he is some vague thought or hope, or even some kind of distant probability. In this condition we make up our own rules as to what we think is tolerable and fun. But what we experience even with our own rules is condemnation, guilt, irritations and a view of ourselves that is less than good. But the grace that is found is Jesus the Christ changes everything. God is not some kind of vague thought, hope or distant probability, he is the Lord and we know him instead of believing in the distant probability. In fact we discover his grace and experience his presence. We begin to enjoy him and are invited to call him Father. Here in his presence we find a love that overwhelms us with joy, patience, kindness, goodness and faithfulness. On this new day may his grace overwhelm you, so that you know afresh his love for you on this day. The one you call Father has no one to be compared to and if he had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. So enjoy his love for you without condemnation. Delight yourself in him and the desires of your heart will be given to you for your joy and the blessing to others.

This is what the LORD says - your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself. Isaiah 44:24
Sometimes along our journey things take place in our lives that in reality, flat out overwhelm us. It may be choices we have made that we wish we would have never made. In fact, sometimes we will think that if there was ever a time we could go back to and change, it would be that choice. Well here is some very good news. God's grace lets you know that there is nothing that has come your way that he cannot bring out for your good. Grace changes how and what we love and therefore our choices become, shall we say, a lot more enjoyable. On this new day may you remember and enjoy the freedom and power of his grace in your life. This day your choices are covered in grace and therefore you are free from the past condemnation that keeps trying to haunt you. Grace will let you enjoy your life without fear and you will know the joy of being renewed in the love of your Redeemer. There is nothing in your past that he cannot reform for his glory and your blessing. You and everyone around you will experience the beauty and freedom of his grace on this new day.

All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O GOD! how vast is the sum of them. Psalm 139:16, 17
One of the great beauties of God's grace is that it gives us the ability to relax and rejoice all at the same time. Living overwhelmed by his grace gives us better hearing, of what is really around us and much better vision as to the situations we are walking through. Grace changes our values and choices which automatically impact our attitude for the day we find ourselves in. Living in a grace condition removes fears, anxiety and much of mis-trust about others. It gives the freedom to know that our Lord is involved in the journey with us and therefore we do not need to be offended so easily and we can enjoy encouraging others along their journey as we have been encouraged by our Lord. On this new day, let His grace be precious to you and enjoy His attitude of kindness as it will be expressed through you. You will be pleased at the way you process info and so will those around you. This is a good day to smile and give thanks to the one who has overwhelmed you with his grace and enjoy his thoughts, bringing praise and refreshment through you.

But - "When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior." Titus 3:4-6 NLT
Here we have a beautiful and refreshing reminder of the attitude of our Lord towards us. Our natural nature has such a tendency towards condemnation, fear and accusation, so that sometimes we forget the wonder and freedom in and through the grace of God. Think of his attitude that is revealed here with words such as - his kindness, his love, his mercy, he washed away our sins, he gave us new life and he generously poured out his Spirit upon us, WOW! On this new day may you enjoy his grace in the freedom of his kindness and encouragement. Here you will be free from fretting, worrying, stressing out and fears. In his grace there is assurance, hope and joy that is overwhelming. This new day is a good day for thanksgiving and praise. Through your example everyone around you will see and experience the beauty and refreshment of his grace. His blessings and encouragement are yours, enjoy!

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:16,17 NLT
When we were young we began to learn the importance of who we are and what we are called. Our name and the name of our family became important. Then as we grew and went to work we found out that the people or company we worked for thought the same thing about their name or the name of the company. They wanted to know that when someone used their name or the company name that it carried significance and value. A good question to ask is - "When someone uses your name, what comes to their mind?" It is here where grace refreshes everything. There is a freedom, a richness and a joy in who you are because of the Lord Jesus the Christ. There is no one else just like you and every new day brings with it a new beginning. So on this new day that has never been before, nor will come again may you enjoy who you are in the grace of our Lord. Whatever you do or say can give refreshment to those around you, be a blessing to you and reveal the beauty and thankfulness of the grace of God in you. Today is a good day for people to know your name.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him Hebrews 11:6
How much do we miss in our journey of life because our eyes and ears are held down by discouragement, doubt, boredom or just plain unbelief. Faith is sure, hopeful and certain as to what God has said and who he is. Grace that is in Jesus the Christ renews and refreshes our emotions and thinking so that our life is confident that our Lord is in the details of our journey. On this new day that has never been before nor will come again, may you find joy in seeking him, instead of seeking what he can do. There is no one like the Lord and his presence changes everything. Relax, enjoy and praise him on this new day for he has a plan and a future for you that will blow your hair back. Enjoy!

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13
Freedom is wonderful, but the truth is, we do not find it in our sinful nature. Where is the freedom in sexual immorality; where is the freedom in cursing or harsh words; where is the freedom in un-forgiveness; where is the freedom in anger; where is the freedom in drunkenness; where is the freedom in selfish ambition; where is the freedom in a critical attitude; where is the freedom in worrying? In these things there is no life, but only some form of condemnation. Well, it is here where you may experience the wonderful grace of God that is in Jesus the Christ. This is a life and a freedom without condemnation, a life that encourages, blesses and finds expressions of kindness, goodness and faithfulness. On this new day may you live in the freedom of his grace. No one will be upset because of your varied expressions of grace and love for them. Your family, your work and your community will never be the same when you live in the freedom of his grace.

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain it. Psalm 51:10,12
One thing about our natural sinful nature is that it is always seeking self satisfaction, even when doing what appears to be good. One of the great refreshments of God's grace is the desire for a new nature, in which only the Lord can provide. For God's grace does not just forgive our sins, it removes condemnation because of God's love found in and through Jesus the Christ. This not being religious at all, gives a freedom to our thinking and emotions to desire a pure heart, to live our lives in such a way that we become living examples of the joy of his salvation. On this new day allow yourself the freedom of his grace to create a pure heart within you, with expressions of thanksgiving. In this place your joy will overflow and you along with those around you will be refreshed, restored and renewed. You will like this day. Enjoy!

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. Ephesians 3:16-18
Here in God’s breath we have a prayer given so that we might enjoy our relationship with the Lord and find out that our worship is much more beautiful than something we just do on Sunday. In worship, prayer can be described as the oxygen of the soul. Worship is from the inside out and we find that it is founded in love and therefore has no condemnation at all. When we realize this love of God in the depth of our being, we begin to enjoy and live in his grace. Growing in grace can be defined as the decreasing frequency of sin and therefore there is no condemnation. On this new day may you find your heart established in his love, for you, your family and your friends. Your expressions, your voice and your opinions in this place will delight you and everything about your journey will become uplifting for anyone who meets you. May those around you be able to grasp the love of Christ because of you. Enjoy!

The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. John 1:41,42
When we find something along our journey that is true, refreshing and exciting, we want to share the news with our family and friends. There is something inside us that loves to give good news when we are not living life just for our self. It is also true that when the journey of our life has gone on for some time focused on our self we have much more of a tendency to be critical of others, condemning and focused about things and people that are less than good. The grace of our Lord does more than save us for heaven; it refreshes our values of family, friends and community. There is a joy in being overwhelmed by grace that just has to express itself through encouragement, kindness and refreshment. On this new day in the grace of our Lord may you be renewed again with the heart of an Andrew. There will be no condemnation there. Your joy for the day will become overwhelming and the refreshment you give to others will impact there life and values in all the right ways. You will be delighted in this season of grace.
