For most of the people on the earth their thought of God is less than awesome. So they think of Him as a man like themselves or maybe some kind of idol. Others finally come to their own conclusion that although they can see the creation there cannot be a God who created all this and is greater than themselves. In Isaiah, the Lord says He created the heavens as a tent to dwell in and then He humbled himself and came into the tent. The power of God’s grace in Jesus Christ creates a new heart and mind so that we may rejoice in knowing the Lord knows all about us instead of feelings of condemnation, guilt and shame.
