O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. Psalm 139:1-4 NLTFor most of the people on the earth their thought of God is less than awesome. So they think of Him as a man like themselves or maybe some kind of idol. Others finally come to their own conclusion that although they can see the creation there cannot be a God who created all this and is greater than themselves. In Isaiah, the Lord says He created the heavens as a tent to dwell in and then He humbled himself and came into the tent. The power of God’s grace in Jesus Christ creates a new heart and mind so that we may rejoice in knowing the Lord knows all about us instead of feelings of condemnation, guilt and shame. Today enjoy your thoughts about what the Lord knows about you and let yourself rejoice knowing He is in all the details of your life. You will experience the freedom of His grace and it will blow your hair back in all the right ways. Comments:
