This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. Colossians 1:6 NLTSo many of us think of church or Jesus the Christ as some sort of religion activity or system by which we begin to judge ourselves. If that were the case, it surely could not be called good news. Grace is eternal life expressed and given through Jesus the Christ. It is his love that makes any individual new who comes into contact with his grace. Grace is so wonderful that it changes our perspective on ourselves, on others and on the details we find ourselves in. In this place our emotions begin to express joy and thanksgiving even in some of the most difficult opportunities. No wonder John Newton called it “Amazing Grace.” On this new day let his grace give life to your views, your emotions and your thinking. God did not want you religious; he wants you alive, enjoying a life of grace that produces all kinds of wonderful encouraging words and actions in your life and the lives of others. When this is happening, it makes for a really good day. Comments:
