God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.  2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV

 

If you have ever wondered if God loved you, just look at this.  God took Jesus Christ and put him into our world.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  John 3:17 NIV.  Sin is condemning in all of its nature.  But God has a different plan for man, Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness." Genesis 1:26 NIV.  That here is called righteousness.  Righteousness is the deliverance from the guilt and deliverance from the power of our own sin.  It is the gift of God’s grace through Jesus Christ. It is being a new creation in Him.  We cannot earn it or achieve it on our own.  It must be received as a gift and once received it is yours forever.  Question – How much does God love us?  God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.  Today may you receive this gift of grace and know this righteousness of God that has been provided through Jesus the Christ.  Once this gift of righteousness is received it is yours now and forever.  Enjoy!

Wow! So what is faith?  Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.  Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the living confidence in what God has said is absolute truth. It is not an academic thought, it is the certainty that God is; and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.  Hebrews 11:6. Through faith we can receive his grace in Jesus Christ. It is the gift of God and it is living. I like to think of it this way, that grace is the living water and faith is the channel along which the beauty of grace flows down to recreate our thoughts and emotions into a new creation in Jesus the Christ.  In grace through faith there is no tension so that our thoughts and emotions can experience righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, sometimes in some of the most difficult situations.  Today let yourself experience the life called faith by the grace of our Lord.  In grace there is no sin, no regret, no doubt and no fear.  Enjoy!

Sometimes in our life, we keep the records of others sins and even our own sins.  In this condition forgiveness is hard to ask for and even harder to live out.  Our emotions seemed to be overwhelmed with all the wrong memories. Yet the One who has the right to keep good records of our sins, doesn’t because of His Grace. If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O LORD, who could stand? Because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, our Lord removes the record of our sins by giving to us His grace without any condemnation about ourselves or others. But with you there is forgiveness.  In grace there is a life that refreshes us right down to the depth of our soul. Today be willing to enjoy this life of forgiveness that is yours through the grace found in Jesus the Christ.  Let all who come in contact with you feel the freedom of your joy in His grace.  God fully intended that his grace would overwhelm you in all the right ways and joy, kindness along with all kinds of encouragement will be the results of grace in you.  That is just what grace does in a man or a woman who is willing to receive it.  Enjoy!

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."  Psalm 91:1, 2 NIV

 

No matter who we are, no matter what our education, no matter what our wealth and no matter what our nationality is, sometime along our journey great sadness comes to us.  It may be the death of our career, our money, our desires, our marriage or our friends.  It is right here where grace in Jesus the Christ can make a difference in the midst of our opportunity.  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Grace is God's love that is alive and can refresh and renew our emotions and thoughts right in the midst of heart ache.  Sorrow does happen, but grace lets us know that it is not the end of the journey.  On this new day may you rejoice in his love with thanksgiving and praise no matter where you may be found.  His grace is a place of refresment and brings thanksgiving back to our emotions and thoughts. "I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."   Enjoy!

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13 NLT We are a nation that is all about freedom. In fact, all the riots going on are suppose to be expressions of freedom, while rocks, bricks and pieces of concrete are thrown at law officers. Then their is the freedom of looting business's all in the name of freedom. For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. Yet as a nation we seem to be losing our freedom and becoming enslaved to actions, attitudes and emotions that are destructive to our families, our neighborhoods and even our nation. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. It isn’t just alcohol, drugs and all forms of immorality but also violence in attitude and actions. What is ironic is the more someone asserts his or her self-centered so called freedom, the more he or she becomes enslaved to their own sin. But there is a prescription for freedom, it is the grace of God found in Jesus Christ. So if the Son of God sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 NIV. This freedom of grace is not a belief system; it is a life that penetrates the very foundation of our emotions and thoughts, it is called a new creation. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. Today enjoy your freedom of grace that has been given to you through Jesus the Christ. Let your day be free in grace so that you know your old habits and addiction are no longer a definition of who you are or were. Your freedom in Christ will bless you and bring enjoyment to everyone around you. Enjoy!

Sometimes along our journey we feel or have some kind of sense that we are alone in the situation and that no one cares about us including God. That feeling or sense is real, but it is not telling us the truth.  Here again we have in God's Word a wonderful picture of his grace working in and through our lives in the situation we find ourselves in.  Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.  We are invited to come into his presence with our full emotions and intellect, allowing the faith and grace he has given to express itself before him.  The idea of sincere hearts is the beauty of grace living within us bringing about trust, peace and a refreshed conscience. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean.  So here again we are reminded that we now have no condemnation, guilt or shame because of the blood of Christ.  So on this new day, may you enjoy your journey of grace and go right into his presence with the details of your life.  As you do, enjoy the attitude of thanksgiving which will give you emotions that are renewed, refreshed and will cause you to feel his peace.  Enjoy!

Here we find something no one has the power to do, but our LORD alone. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. The power of God's grace is that it takes a belief in God from the academic into a relationship with him that touches the very soul of who we are.  Grace through Jesus Christ impacts our heart like nothing else can. What is natural to grace is that our emotions become new, so that love, kindness and encouragement  become natural to us without the feeling of any awkwardness.  Here our marriage, our children and our relationships are refreshed in ways that give us the desire to express joy and thanksgiving to our Lord. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. Today has been given to you as a gift from the Lord, may you enjoy your life in his grace. Humble your heart and give God’s grace the freedom to bring rejoicing to your emotions! When we receive the gift of God’s Grace we discover things that we were never aware of before and with praise we will continue to be overwhelmed. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy, which means to be without fault in his eyes.  This is absolutely accomplished by the power of God’s grace in our life. Think of this again, Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.   To know this as the truth, will bring about a nature that is overwhelmed in thankfulness and praise.   Today may you read this out loud and then shout out your thankfulness for what he accomplished in Jesus Christ for you.  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.  Praise the LORD!  Psalm 150:6. It is amazing that even at the beginning of creation Adam and Eve somehow began to think within themselves that their reasoning seemed to be better than what God had said.  With that reasoning they entered sin and it was there that the battles began with God and with each other. No one can serve two masters.  Men and Women all over the world are still suffering in their relationships from this logic and understanding. For you will hate one and love the other, you will be devoted to one and despise the other.  Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Humanly speaking we find ourselves much more devoted to what we see than what God has said in His Word. But it is in this condition that grace can overwhelm us and renew our thinking and our emotions.  Grace brings a new life with a new perspective of seeking the kingdom of God above all else, and to live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.  Today may you experience the life of his grace, where you will find no worry, no stress, no forms of envy and no tension.  Let his grace penetrate your heart and you will find a life that will rejoice right where you are. Seeking his kingdom and Living righteously has absolutely no regret.  Enjoy!
