The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.  Psalm 23:1 NIV

In these simple words we see the impact of grace in a man or woman of God.  The LORD is my shepherd.  By His grace they have come to know Him as the one who loves them and cares deeply for them. Here He is seen as “my shepherd, the one who cares intimately about the details of our life.  Grace lets us know that this is more than a thought or some kind of belief; it is a fact about our relationship with the Lord.  When we know this as true, stress, worry and anxiety have no place in us because I shall not be in want.  Today, celebrate that He is caring for you through all the details of your life.  Allow yourself to relax, smile and rejoice with praise to the LORD your Shepherd, whose goal is to bless you.  Enjoy!

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and prove what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.  Romans 12:2 NIV

One of the most miserable individuals on the earth is a man or woman of God who chooses to conform his or her thinking to the pattern of this world. That is the carbon monoxide to relationships and the enemy of grace. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world…   Being conformed to the pattern of this world and grace are never found occupying the same space. But here is our great relief to the problem, it is the living power of God’s love which is greater than our sin, it is called grace.  Grace will always renew the way we see ourselves and others. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Transformed  (metamorphosis) is the process we see in a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.  God’s grace gives the same drastic change in how we think and therefore how we can feel. Then you will be able to test and prove what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. Today by his grace may you choose to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, then you will discover a will that is greater than your own.  You will find in grace joy, laughter, peace and encouragement in how you experience life.  Enjoy!

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness.  Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing.  My brothers, this should not be.  James 3:9, 10 NIV

Are there not moments in our life when even we are stunned by what just came out of our mouth? With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. My brothers, this should not be. The grace that has been given in our Lord Jesus the Christ is meant to bring about a new life in us and therefore a new way in how we speak to one another. Since grace is filled with kindness and encouragement, we are given the opportunities to speak words of grace to others on a very consistent level.  In other words, expressions of blessings, encouragement and refreshment become not just what we say but actually who we are in the grace of our Lord.  Today choose to live in the new life of his grace.  Let the expressions on your face, the tones of your voice and the words from your mouth be full of grace to everyone you meet.  If something other than a blessing comes from your mouth, grace will let you repent in joy. So go ahead, bless your family, your co-workers and those you meet along your way.  Grace gives you the joy to express yourself so that it brings delight to you and a joy to others. Enjoy!

My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him for God is our refuge.  Psalm 62:7, 8 NIV

There is nothing more life changing to a man or a woman than the grace of God. that is through Jesus the Christ! My salvation and my honor depend on God. Grace brings a confident new reality to our emotions and intellect.  In God’s grace, faith becomes a joyful expression of the love of God! He is my mighty rock, my refuge. God’s grace found through Jesus the Christ is much more powerful, much more refreshing and much more renewing than any situation we may find ourselves in.  You see faith in God is not a belief system; it is a living confidence in God and his Word that releases thanksgiving and praise right in the middle of life’s opportunities. Trust in him at all times.  Today has been given to you, may you know for sure that your salvation, your honor and your life are secure in the grace of Christ.  A refuge is a place of blessing and your refuge is not in a location, it is in the very life of God.  Pour out your heart to him and get ready to rejoice.  Enjoy!

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him, praise his name.  Psalm 100:4

Feelings of thanksgiving concerning God, others or even ourselves do not seem to come to us naturally. So much so that for most of us we have to be taught to say and experience thanksgiving.  With thanksgiving not exactly being natural we can find ourselves easily annoyed, irritated, condemned and at times emotions that are just stressed out.  God’s grace changes the entire situation by bringing His nature right into the center of our lives which always impacts emotions. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise.  In grace praising his name is not one more thing to do, it becomes who we are. Give thanks to him, praise his name.  Living life in thanksgiving and praise to our Lord produces emotions of joy that bless, are considerate and esteem others as more important than ourselves.  Today, let yourself absolutely enjoy his grace that has given you a new nature, filled with thanksgiving and praise. Go ahead and enter his gates, his grace will renew how you feel, it will let thanksgiving and rejoicing be your gift to those who come into contact with you today.  Enjoy!

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.  Genesis 2:24

God’s plan for mankind has always been grace, for grace brings about a love which produces joy and unity in our relationships.  Sin on the other hand is destructive in its emotions, its words and brings damage to relationships.  The actions of sin have destroyed many marriages and families along the journey.  But the love found in Jesus the Christ is that His grace can overwhelm sin, for it was given in the power of the blood of Christ.  Emotions of grace, words of grace and expressions of grace can renew love and life to marriages, families and communities. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. You see grace gives life to us in the very center of our being to love well.  Grace can and will enjoy being tolerant, patient, gentle and kind, all of which builds relationships.  Today may grace live freely through you! Laugh a lot, encourage a lot and forgive a lot in your life of grace., there are no regrets there. This day of grace can bring unity, kindness and blessings to your relationships within your family through you.  Enjoy!

Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.  For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.  So you also are complete through your union with Christ.  Colossians 2:8-10 NLT

Many times through life we are looking for some kind of philosophy that will give our life meaning or completeness. Without it we seem to struggle with who we are and where we are going. Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world. Grace lets us experience something that is greater than any philosophy or high sounding nonsense. The freshness of God’s grace is to live in a sense of WOW!  For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.  So you also are complete through your union with Christ. We have been given the greatest of all things, our union with Christ, which is eternal life and it is complete.  There can be nothing more magnificent or fulfilling than God himself.  Today let yourself live complete in your union with Christ, filled with joy and praise. Allow yourself to smile a lot and rejoice a lot, for you are dearly loved, lacking nothing in the grace of God found in Jesus Christ.  Enjoy!

Always be full of joy in the Lord.  I say it again – Rejoice.  Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:4, 6. 7 NLT

Has anyone every told you that if you let God’s grace penetrate your heart you will be able to live a worry free existence? Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace. If we follow the freedom of thinking found in God’s Word, once knowing Jesus Christ, his grace will free us to relax and be able to find refreshment in all the opportunities of life.  In place of worry, stress, anxiety, shame, guilt or just plain old condemnation, start spending time rejoicing in his grace and you will discover joy in some of the most difficult places. Always be full of joy in the Lord.  I say it again – Rejoice! With grace in place, thanksgiving becomes natural and our Lord will put a guard at the door of your emotions called peace.  Today choose rejoicing over worry and let your emotions celebrate our Lord. The joy of the Lord will refresh the moments of your journey so that you’re thinking and emotions are free from worry.  His peace will guard your heart and your mind as you live in Christ Jesus. Enjoy!

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 NIV

There is something wonderful that happens within us when we know we are at our best.  Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved. Well, the outcome of God’s grace that is given through Jesus the Christ is a life that can be seen, which correctly handles the word of God. Handling it also means living it, thats freedom! Grace is eternal life without any form of condemnation about ourselves and therefore others.  Grace gives a rebirth to our character which obviously affects our emotions and thinking, this is a wonderful example of a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.    As you begin this day allow your  thoughts and emotions to express praise to God.  Believe what you know our Lord says about you. To do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, is the strength of God’s grace in you. Smile right down to the depth of your soul and your life will be the voice and the character of living the word of truth. Enjoy!

Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  Romans 6:4

New life always blesses us.  It can be the birth of our children, grandchildren or even our great grandchildren.  In those moments we find ourselves celebrating with great joy, no matter what we may personally be going through.  Ever notice the joy of children when they are around puppies?  Well, Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  Here is a question – “what is the truth of the resurrection?”  The resurrection proclaims the glory and power of God’s grace.  It was a public announcement that the reign of sin and death has been broken.  In his grace we now have been given a new life, not a reconditioned life.  Today rejoice because of his grace that has been given to you.  The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. Just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, you too have been given new life so that you may now experience His joy.  Grace lets your emotions and thoughts be refreshed so that you are choosing to celebrate in your new life.  Enjoy!
