Imitate God, therefore in everything you do because you are his dear children. Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity or greed among you.  Such sins have no place among God’s people.  Obscene stories, foolish talk, and course jokes – these are not for you.  Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.

Ephesians 5:1, 3, 4 NLT

What is commonly known as faith in Jesus the Christ is the life of a new creation that his grace gives to our character.  Imitate God, in everything you do because you are his dear children.  If sexual immorality, impurity, greed, obscene stories, foolish talk and course jokes were so outstanding, we would have stayed in them and rejected the life of his grace.  In Christ we can actually live in a new nature that has no remorse as it transforms our values, our thinking, our emotions and our attitudes towards God, family, friends and co-workers.  Today celebrate the nature you have in his grace to live with the emotions of thanksgiving.  Here, you and everyone around you will experience a goodness in relationships with the Lord and each other. As you live in his grace, no one around you will be irritated, including you.  Kindness and integrity will just be who you are.  Enjoy!

Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder.  Write them deep within your heart.  Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.

Proverbs 3:3,4 NLT

Being overwhelmed and living by grace allows us a great freedom of thinking, living and esteeming others as more important than ourselves.  Loyalty and kindness are two beautiful parts of grace and when they are allowed to live in and to be expressed through our lives our Lord is blessed and people are refreshed and we will earn a good reputation.  That being true, we then are filled with joy and goodness.  On this new day, that has never been before, may you enjoy these expressions of his grace in you.  May your journey have situations for loyalty and kindness to be expressed through you.  Relax, smile and get ready to be blessed.  Enjoy!

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. Psalm 91:1, 2 NLT

No matter who we are, no matter what our education, no matter what our wealth and no matter what our nationality is, sometime along our journey through life, death comes to us all.  It may be the death of our career, our money, our desires, our marriage, our friends, our family or eventually our lives.  But right here is where grace in Jesus Christ can make a difference. Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Grace is God's love being experienced; it brings a new creation to our emotions and our thoughts right in the midst of a heart ache.  Death does happen and in fact it will happen, but grace lets us know that it is not the end of the story.  Today rejoice in his love, allowing yourself to express words of thanksgiving no matter where you may be found, to the one who has poured out his grace upon you.  His grace is your place of rest.  “He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him"   Enjoy!

But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on buying it for the full price.  I will not take what is yours and give it to the LORD. I will not present burnt offerings that have cost me nothing! 1 Chronicles 21:24 NLT

When grace has been received through faith we become alive and it will have a great impact on all our relationships.  You see that God’s grace changes everything from what we believe about God to how we respond to those around us. But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on buying it for the full price. I will not take what is yours and give it to the LORD.  The Lord is not a religion, a set of standards or a belief system, He is life itself.  This being true means the sacrifice of Jesus Christ was not something to help us, but it was given so that we are a new creation and have life as he is! Allowing his grace to live and express itself in us, gives us a life even with all its opportunities, the privilege of living with joy, kindness, patience and encouragement.  All of which impact our relationships with goodness. Today let the freedom of His grace live in your emotions and thoughts.  Those you meet will experience life  and honor through you as our Lord intended and you will have the sweet relief of experiencing his grace.  Enjoy!

For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many.  But even greater is God's wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.  Romans 5:17 NLT

There is a living gift called grace given to us through Jesus the Christ.  It is not just some kind of forgiveness, But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness Righteousness will always bring a great contrast between what once we were and what now by the grace of God we have become. For all who receive it will live in triumph over sin.  God's righteousness is a life delivered from the guilt and the mastery of our own sin.  It is a life with new emotions, new attitudes of encouragement and new actions that bless for all who receive it.  Today may everything in your life bring praise and thanksgiving for God’s wonderful grace.  Let yourself rejoice in this life in Jesus Christ that is eternal and as you delight in him may you experience triumph over your own sin.  Enjoy!

As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed them into her home.  Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord's feet.  But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing.  She came to Jesus and said, "Lord, doesn't it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work?  Tell her to come and help me.  But the Lord said to her, "My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!  There is only one thing worth being concerned about.  Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her."

Luke 10:38-42 NLT

Have you ever been described as easily distracted, easily worried and easily upset? Well, God’s grace in Jesus Christ can change all of that. Grace will let you discover a love that expresses itself in delighting in the Lord, it is known as worship.  Worship is that one thing that is needed to be discovered for a good and healthy attitude.  Without grace we experience the emotions of stress in all its forms. You are worried and upset over all these details!  Worshiping the Lord puts all the details of life in proper perspective.  Today let his grace live through you and let it be expressed through your attitudes, thoughts and your actions.  In a life of grace there is no grouchiness or stress.  Here you will experience his joy in all the minutiae of your life and again that is called grace.  Enjoy!

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other, just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.  John 13:34, 35 NLT

Our world uses the word love and seems to want to experience it, but struggles in its emotions and thoughts as to what it is or what it really looks like. Multitudes of relationships in the home, the community, our churches and the nation are broken. The grace that has been provided and given by God through Jesus Christ opens the heart to become a new creation, in order to experience and live in God’s loveSo now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other, just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  When we are told that God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son into the world… John 3:16, he goes on to say, God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  John 3:17. So God’s love is not condemning,it is always relational and shows itself to people wherever it finds them.  His form of love is selfless, sacrifical, and unconditional. It persists no matte what!!!Think what would happen to our society if God’s love became the bases of all marriages and divorces came to an end. Think of the impact on our homes, our communities, our church's and our nation if men and women of God lived this way. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.  Today, may you allow God’s grace to give you power to live this new command: love one another.  Every relationship you know will be changed and you will be blessed.  Love does no harm to its neighbor.  Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.  Romans 13:10 NIV. Enjoy!

Work hard so you can present yourself to God and recieve his approval.  Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15 NLT

Well, the life of God’s grace that is offered as a free gift through Jesus the Christ is life without any form of condemnation about who we  were or are. So, if we have received this gift of grace, encouragement is given.  Work hard so you can present yourself to God and recieve his approval.  Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed...  Grace is a powerful, joyful new life and it is relaxing at the same time. Grace gives a rebirth to our character which obviously is meant to renew our emotions and thinking. This is a wonderful example of correctly explaining the “word of truth”.  If you will allow yourself to experience God’s grace, it can make life really joyful. Therefore husbands and wives who are full of grace make really good marriages and families.  As you begin this day let your thoughts and emotions express rejoicing for his grace. Think of this, he enjoys you and loves you.   Take a deep breath and smile right down to the depth of your soul and your life will be the living example of someone who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains(and lives) the word of truth! Enjoy!

Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.  For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean... Hebrews 10:22 NLT

A guilty conscience is a horrible place to live, with feelings that take us to places we do not want to go. Here again we have in God's Word a wonderful picture of his grace working in and through our lives.  We are invited to go right into his presence with our emotions and intellect. Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. The idea of sincere hearts is the life of grace living within us bringing about a refreshed and renewed conscience. So, we are reminded that we now have no condemnation, guilt or shame because of the blood of ChristFor our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean.  So on this new day, may you enjoy your journey of grace and go right into his presence with a sincere heart fully trusting him.  As you do, enjoy the attitude of thanksgiving which will give you emotions that are renewed, refreshed and will give you the desire to rejoice.  Enjoy!

The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.  1 Samuel 16:7 NIV

One of the great joys in our life is when we feel something that touches the very heart of our being.  The life of God's grace is that it takes a belief in God from the academic into a relationship with him that touches the very soul of who we are. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus.  2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV.  Grace through Jesus Christ impacts our heart like nothing else can. What is natural to grace is that our emotions become new to express love, kindness and encouragement without the feeling of any awkwardness.  Here our marriage, our children, our church"s and our relationships can be refreshed in ways that give us the desire to rejoice in our Lord. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. Today has been given to you as a gift from the Lord, may you enjoy your life in his grace.  Be willing to give God’s grace the freedom to bring rejoicing to your heart and you will find yourself renewed, refreshed and reinvigorated.  Enjoy!

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.  Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.  Ephesians 1:3, 4 NLT

When we receive God’s Grace we discover things that we were never aware of before and truthfully will continue to overwhelm us. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.  This absolutely comes about by the power of God’s grace in our life.  To know this as the truth about who we are in His grace will bring about a nature that is overwhelmed with thankfulness and praise. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Today may you read this out loud and then shout out your thankfulness for what he accomplished in Jesus Christ in and for you.  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.  Praise the LORD!  Psalm 150:6.  ENJOY!

So think clearly and exercise self-control.  Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.  But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.  For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”  1 Peter 1:13, 15 NLT

God’s grace absolutely changes lives and produces a new nature in those who have come to know Jesus the Christ. So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.  Here is a question we should ask – “Do we think that we feel the importance of holiness as much as we should and do we know what it is? But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.  God’s grace opens the door for the Holy Spirit to come into our lives and he always reproduces what he is and that is Holy (Galatians 5:22-24),  Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  What is Christianity if we are not holy?  The very word – “Christian” means to be “Christ Like.” The power of God’s grace is this – that to be holy we must begin with Jesus the Christ.  He is the root and beginning of all holiness and the way to be holy is to come to him by faith and be joined to him.  J. C. Ryle (Holiness page 22) – “But just as we know there is a wind by the effect in produces on the waves and trees, so we may know the Holy Spirit is in a man by the effects He produces in the man’s conduct.  It is nonsense to suppose that we have the Spirit, if we do not also “walk by the Spirit.””  Today rejoice in being thankful for the gospel of the grace of God found in Jesus the Christ.  You need no longer to be afraid of looking at your sin, when you have taken God’s remedy for it – Jesus Christ our Lord!  Enjoy!

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Romans 1:21, 22 NIV

Here in the Word of God are the results of a sinful life that says it knows God, but does not rejoice in Him or have thourghts and emotions of thanksgiving to Him. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him.  It is one thing to know that there is a God and quite another to know God and glorify him as God through you life. A belief in God that produces no love for God is a futile belief. But their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.  God’s grace is His love given as a gift, so that we are delivered from our own guilt and the power of our own sins addictions. Grace is meant to change how we view God and bring about a new creation in us which changes how we feel and think about ourselves and then others.  Grace in Jesus the Christ lets us know God in a way that renews our desires and then produces emotions of thanksgiving.  The man or woman that lives thankful in grace, automatically gives glory to God and knows his joy. So today may you know who you are by your own actions.  Choose to allow yourself the freedom in Chrisrt to delight in finding ways to be thankful.  Let God's grace express through your attitude the life of a thankful heart.  In this place you will always be known for your kindness and your blessings.  Some of the most difficult situations are changed with a heart of thanksgiving.  Enjoy!

May those who hope in you not be disgraced because of me, O LORD, the LORD Almighty; may those who seek you not be put to shame because of me.

Psalm 69:6 NIV

Our lives can  really make a difference, for good or bad to our family, our friends, our church's and those around us.  Our response to situations has a great impact on the lives of those who know us. Living in God’s grace that is given in Jesus Christ can change our focus on life.  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God... 2 Corinthians 5:17, 18 NIV.  That is why we say,  "May those who hope in you not be disgraced because of me, O LORD, the LORD Almighty!"   God’s Grace is full of life and joy!  There is no regret of any kind when we let the grace of Christ give direction to our thinking, emotions and responses. May those who seek you not be put to shame because of me. Today enjoy the blessing of eternal life that is in you, it is called God’s grace. Here you will find no embarrassment of any kind; in fact what you will experience is life that is rejoicing, light hearted and a sweet relief to you and those around you.  Enjoy!

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your heats.  For as members of one body you are called to live in peace.  And always be thankful.

Colossians 3:15 NLT

Life itself is just an amazing journey, when you think we all start off in the same place, as new born babies. No matter what nationality or language, for most of us we start off being cared for so that we fall in love with our parents all of which gives meaning to our relationships.  But we all discover that many of our relationships become tense, which will affect our attitudes and emotions. So in the beauty of God's grace in Jesus the Christ we have to learn something, it is called “Let.”  For this to happen we have to desire the will of God. Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.  This can start us off again in a new place where we can learn joy in the midst of our life. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace.  It is here where relationships can be healed with the grace of peace. Today let in the peace that our Lord has for you.  Allow your will to be refreshed in his peace and you will have expressions, emotions and words that bring encouragement to others!!! And always be thankful!!!  Enjoy!

I will thank you, Lord, among all the people.  I will sing your praises among the nations.  For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens.  Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.  Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens.  May your glory shine over all the earth. Psalm 57:9-11 NLT

Look what the grace of Jesus Christ accomplishes in our lives! If we are willing to start our morning by being thankful to the Lord, we will find our afternoons filled with praise. I will thank you, Lord, among all people. I will sing your praises among the nations. It is refreshing to be aware of God's grace and find our life being thankful at the beginning of each new day. Something always takes place in our life when we are willing to open our mouth and give thanks to the Lord.  Why are we willing?  For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.  Today before everything else starts to get your attention, open your mouth and let your heart express your thanks and praise to the one who is always faithful to you, always loving you, then watch what happens.  Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens.  May your glory shine over all the earth! (Psalm 37:4) Enjoy!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through himColossians 3:17 NIV

Being overwhelmed by God’s grace through Jesus Christ is a transformation that takes place within the desires of our heart.  Instead of words, tones or deeds that are less than refreshing, grace gives a new desire of expressing in whatever we do with our words or with our deeds thanks to God. Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Words and actions of grace will refresh and encourage others through their life. Living in grace speakes into peoples lives instead of speaking at them.  Emotions that live in grace are always renewing and bring a great relief of thanksgiving.  Today, may the life of His grace come out of your mouth and actions very naturally and be expressed on your face.  The joy you will experience and the refreshment it will bring will absolutely delight you. When this verse is a description of who you are, then you will have an outstanding day, and your relationships will have an emotion called joy. Enjoy!

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.  Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous.  He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

Romans 3:23, 24 NLT

This verse starts with God’s description of our conditiuon before his we receive his kindness (grace). Our situation is not found in a healthy place.  For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard which means we all have found in our nature the results of that.  Jealousy, lust, irritations, anxiety, anger, feelings of criticism along with all forms of judgment concerning ourselves and others have come to us naturally.  There is not enough money or education in the world that can remove these things from who we are by nature.  But when we take God at his Word and receive his gift of grace (undeserved kindness) that is given to us in Jesus the Christ all things begin to change. Through Jesus Christ it is God who declares that we are righteous.   Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. Righteousness first gift is deliverance from guilt and then deliverance from the power of our own sin. In righteousness emotions of condemnation end and grace replaces it with new emotions of encouragement, peace and joy. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty of our sins. In grace there is a blessing of joy that can be lived and experienced through our life. Today enjoy the life of grace that is yours because of Jesus Christ.  Let your mind experience the emotions of grace as your words and tones express rejoicing and praise.  If you are willing to receive his undeserved kindness through Christ Jesus, you will understand the blessing of his compassion and your life will become a wonderful fragrance to your family, your friends and those you meet.  Enjoy!

So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work.  Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God. For who can eat or enjoy anything apart from him.

Ecclesiastes 2:24, 25 NLT

When the grace of Jesus the Christ has been received, it will bring about desires that are overwhelmed with joy and thanksgiving for the simplest things we have.  So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work.  Satisfaction for food, drink and work are the living by-poducts of grace. Our world seems to be overwhelmed with  complaining, grumbling, stress and anxiety and do not seem to have any long term ability to enjoy all these blessings. I have said it before about the simplest gifts of God such as all those taste buds in our mouth that are just waiting to express themselves.  Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God. Grace can celebrate these individual moments with an attitude of thanksgiving and that changes everything from how we feel to how we think.  Today let yourself find pleasure in the smallest things along your journey.  You, your family, your friends and those you come in contact with will be renewed through your attitude of grace.  For who can eat or enjoy anything apart from him.  Enjoy!

Is there a conflict, then, between God’s law and God’s promises?  Absolutely not!  If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it.  But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.

Galatians 3:21, 22 NLT

What is so amazing about God’s promise is that it gives something to us that we cannot ever accomplish or obtain by ourselves. If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it. So we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.  It is called grace and known as a new life.  This new life is given through what God promised his grace would do through Jesus the Christ.  Sin is the conflict of our soul and it has no ability to love; it can only lust because it is always self-seeking.  The law says do, Grace says done!  The freedom of God’s grace lets us choose how we will respond to our opportunities.  We can now see clearly the difference between new life (freedom) and being a prisoner to our sinful emotions.  Today let your heart be refreshed in who you are because God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.  His grace lets you choose what direction your thoughts and emotions will go.  We now know why we sing – “Amazing grace that saved a wretch like me.” Enjoy!

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord.  All glory, majesty, power and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

Jude 24,25 NLT

Here is a prayer of Grace that cannot be contained. It starts with a thought full of emotion for the magnificence of God's gift of grace.  Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.  Hallelujah!  If we can believe that Jesus the Christ died and rose again for us, then we can take God at his word in what he says here as true. Grace cleanses and renews all our thoughts and emotions and so they need to be expressed.  All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord.  On this brand new day take the time to be overwhelmed in His grace, let your mouth and your emotions declare today, All glory, majesty, power and authority are His before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time!   It will release the character of a new creation that has been given to you in Jesus Christ.  You will truly find joy and discover that the joy of the Lord is your strength. There is no one like the Lord!  All glory to him who alone is God! Enjoy!
