Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.  For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.  So you also are complete through your union with Christ.  Colossians 2:8-10 NLT

Many times through life we are looking for some kind of philosophy that will give our life meaning or completeness. Without it we seem to struggle with who we are and where we are going. Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world. Grace lets us experience something that is greater than any philosophy or high sounding nonsense. The freshness of God’s grace is to live in a sense of WOW!  For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.  So you also are complete through your union with Christ. We have been given the greatest of all things, our union with Christ, which is eternal life and it is complete.  There can be nothing more magnificent or fulfilling than God himself.  Today let yourself live complete in your union with Christ, filled with joy and praise. Allow yourself to smile a lot and rejoice a lot, for you are dearly loved, lacking nothing in the grace of God found in Jesus Christ.  Enjoy!

Always be full of joy in the Lord.  I say it again – Rejoice.  Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:4, 6. 7 NLT

Has anyone every told you that if you let God’s grace penetrate your heart you will be able to live a worry free existence? Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace. If we follow the freedom of thinking found in God’s Word, once knowing Jesus Christ, his grace will free us to relax and be able to find refreshment in all the opportunities of life.  In place of worry, stress, anxiety, shame, guilt or just plain old condemnation, start spending time rejoicing in his grace and you will discover joy in some of the most difficult places. Always be full of joy in the Lord.  I say it again – Rejoice! With grace in place, thanksgiving becomes natural and our Lord will put a guard at the door of your emotions called peace.  Today choose rejoicing over worry and let your emotions celebrate our Lord. The joy of the Lord will refresh the moments of your journey so that you’re thinking and emotions are free from worry.  His peace will guard your heart and your mind as you live in Christ Jesus. Enjoy!

Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  Romans 6:4

New life always blesses us.  It can be the birth of our children, grandchildren or even our great grandchildren.  In those moments we find ourselves celebrating with great joy, no matter what we may personally be going through.  Ever notice the joy of children when they are around puppies?  Well, Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  Here is a question – “what is the truth of the resurrection?”  The resurrection proclaims the glory and power of God’s grace.  It was a public announcement that the reign of sin and death has been broken.  In his grace we now have been given a new life, not a reconditioned life.  Today rejoice because of his grace that has been given to you.  The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. Just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, you too have been given new life so that you may now experience His joy.  Grace lets your emotions and thoughts be refreshed so that you are choosing to celebrate in your new life.  Enjoy!

Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.  For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean.  Hebrews 10:22 NLT

Sometimes through life we have some kind of thought that God is not interested in how we feel.  That feeling or thought is real, but it is not telling us the truth.  Right here we have in God's Word the results of his grace working in our lives. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean.  We are invited to come into his presence with all our emotions and intellect, knowing he has taken all of our guilty conscience out of our life because of the blood of Christ.  Today, choose to enjoy your journey of grace and go right into his presence with a guilt free conscience because of the grace of Christ.  As you do, fell free to celebrate with the attitude of thanksgiving, it will release joy. Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.  Enjoy!

I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.  I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.  Philemon 5, 6 NIV

One of the magnificent wonders of God’s grace is the giving of a living faith.  It is not a belief system or set of standards by which we live our lives.  Faith is sure, hopeful and certain about God’s grace in Jesus Christ and can be recognized as a love for people.  This faith is very real, in fact it is called – Your Faith. Let’s face it, most people know us by what is ours.  So, if faith in Jesus the Christ is actually ours, the Word of God says – “I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith.”  Faith that is active is filled with joy, encouragement and is very refreshing to everyone around.  This activity opens the door so that you may begin to understand every good thing you have in Jesus Christ.  Let what you know to be true in Jesus Christ express itself so naturally that you and those around you will be renewed in life today. Faith was meant to be lived and enjoyed because it brings with it a new life in Jesus Christ.  By His grace it is all yours. Enjoy!

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.  1 Peter 1:18-20

It is amazing what we as individual put value on and what we value impacts the direction of our lives.  It does seem that perishable things such as silver or gold are somehow on most people’s minds and if we can acquire a significant amount of these things we think we will personally feel we have more worth.  Yet, with all these things acquired all over the earth we still are full of violence, immorality, brokenness and sadness. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers.  What possibly then could have more value than silver or gold?  Well, we have been redeemednot with perishable things, but with the precious blood of Christ, God’s gift of grace.  Today let yourself live a life that has been redeemed by the grace of Jesus the Christ.  Redeemed by the blood of Christ is the declaration that you are loved now and for all eternity.  This is a good day to finally rest in what God has said he has done for you through Jesus Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.  Enjoy!

The outcome of God's grace that has been given through Jesus the Christ is the assurance it gives you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.  Then faith in God will be very much alive in us,  we find our emotions and our thoughts please the Lord, bringing a blessings to those who are around us. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. Here grace becomes the blessing to our family and the healing of emotional wounds begins to take place.  In the Word of God this is called - Good Fruit.  Let his grace through faith allow you the confidence of knowing him better and better.  Today let yourself know for sure that his will for you is good.  It is designed to refresh you, to delight your family, to bless your co-workers and to renew your community. Imitate God, therefore in everything you do because you are his dear children. Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity or greed among you.  Such sins have no place among God’s people.  Obscene stories, foolish talk, and course jokes – these are not for you.  Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.  Ephesians 5:1, 3, 4 NLT

What is commonly known as salvation in Jesus the Christ is the life that his grace gives to our character. Imitate God, therefore in everything you do because you are his dear children.  If the sins listed here in God’s Word were renewing in anyway, we would have stayed in them and rejected the offer of life in his grace. Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.  The nature of grace is that it makes new our values, our thinking, our emotions and our attitudes towards God, family, friends and co-workers. Obscene stories, foolish talk, and course jokes – these are not for you.  Today let yourself imitate God in everything you doImitating God with a heart full of thanksgiving will produce a great amount of joy. Let there be thankfulness to God. Here you can experience a delight in relationships with the Lord and each other.  Imitate God, in everything you do, now that is a new nature in Jesus Christ. Let us give thanks!!! Enjoy!

You have heard the law that says, “Love your neighbor and hate your enemy”.  But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that?

Matthew 5:43-46 NLT

The grace of our Lord is so radically different than our natural thinking and emotions. This is what Grace is and naturally does! Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! For many of us it is easy to get angry, irritated and to be very unforgiving. Thay is our natural sinful nature. Here is something to think about Where do all the dissensions come from within our families, our work place and our communities?  These tensions come from within us.  But the nature of God’s grace through Jesus Christ is so radically different.  The nature of grace brings about a new creation in how we see and feel for any man or woman who has received it. In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. Grace brings a new nature, listen to grace whisper – Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you!  Grace is the gift of God, which brings a new direction to our thinking and emotions.  Today, allow yourself to love others in a most encouraging way, even if they seem unlovable. You will have no sorrow or regret living in the grace of Jesus Christ. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that?  Enjoy!

Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.  The angel said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy clothes."  Then he said to Joshua, "See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put beautiful garments on you.  Zechariah 3:3, 4 NIV

God’s grace can remove our filthy garments which is our own activities in sin, not someone else's. See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put beautiful garments on you.  His grace cleanses, refreshes, renews  and rebirths our emotions and our mind, all of which impact our body.  Notice that God’s grace comes without any ridicule, condemnation or accusations. He did not call Joshua stupid, brain dead or some kind of looser. Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.  The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take of his filthy clothes.”  What God does through Jesus Christ brings an enjoyable blessing to us, which has the potential of encouraging those around us. In grace our life becomes new again and we find ourselves rediscovering the beauty of life one more time. Today may you be blessed with this beautiful garment of grace that is yours.  Living in his grace has no remorse or sorrow at all.  In fact words, actions and tones of grace will refresh your life. In grace life is awakened and a new journey begins. See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put beautiful garments on you.  Enjoy!

I will sing to the LORD as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath! May all my thoughts be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the LORD. Let all that I am praise the LORDPsalm 104:33-35 NLT

This Psalm gives definition to what happens to a man or woman who has become overwhelmed by God’s grace. I will sing to the LORD as long as I live.  I will praise my God to my last breath! God’s grace renews our heart with joy and thanksgiving and these emotions influence our goals, our desires and our thinking. His grace brings our character to life just as yeast brings dough to life. Once the yeast has been put into the dough, the dough will never be the same. Once grace has been put into a man or woman they can never be the same. May all my thoughts be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the LORD.  Today choose to let his grace bring to life your actions and your words. Your delight of the Lord will bring a great refreshment to you and those who know you best. So go ahead and allow yourself to live in the blessings of his grace. Let all that I am praise the LORD!  Enjoy!

God saved you by his grace through faith.  And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.  Ephesians 2:8, 9 NLT

Whatever may be true about sin and whatever has happened to all of us because of it, God has done infinitely greater by his grace through faith in Jesus Christ. God saved you by his grace through faith.  Where sin increased with all its forms of regret and guilt, right there grace overwhelmed with life and freedom.  Grace is the expression of God’s love given to us all in Jesus the Christ.  It is only grace that could make sin yield in our lives.  The effect of grace upon our life is faith and therefore faith becomes the first result of the new life bestowed.  Here the healing from all our condemnation begins.  This really is a gift worth opening; it will renew your life forever.  Today is a good day to experience the gift of grace that has been given to you.  Here your heartaches have a place to be made whole; regrets from your past will no longer be the ruin of the day.  Remember, Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done.  You can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. God saved you by his grace through faith.  You might just find yourself filled with joy right down to the depth of your soul.  God’s gift of grace is yours now and forever, it’s His promise.  Enjoy!

We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.  In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.  May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you.

Psalm 33:20 - 23 NIV

When we were children, at least for most of us, our parents protected us, provided for us and cared for us.  It was here we learned the beginnings of trust, hope and love.  No matter how rich or poor we were, we never thought about it, we just relaxed through the day and when we went home from school or play we knew that food, shelter and love would be there.  Somewhere along the journey we learned about stress, anxiety and peer pressure, none of which we enjoy.  When we let ourselves be overwhelmed by grace, worry leaves the room as well as attitudes that are less than outstanding.  Grace does much more than save us for heaven, it sets our heart and mind free to experience and enjoy the love of God. In him our heartws rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. On this new day that has never been, may you enjoy living right smack dab in the middle of his grace.  You will enjoy the relaxing freedom of his presence; know the whisper of his voice and the joy of his salvation that calls you son or daughter.  A smile will become natural as well as praise and thanksgiving.  Your emotions and thoughts will be refreshed and you will clearly know what it means to be delighted in the Lord.  Enjoy!

Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.  Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin.  Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law.  Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

Romans 6:12-14 NLT

The cause of actual freedom is called God’s grace. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law.  Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.  Constantly trying to do right was never the condition for our freedom.  God never saved us by law. What the requirements of the law had to do with our salvation was to provide the way for sin to express itself so that we might see our actual nature and receive God’s grace through Jesus the Christ.  God never withholds grace because of sin; in fact grace is the infinite flow of God’s perfect love.  Today celebrate the freedom of God’s grace in your desires and your emotions. Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin.  Grace has provided the freedom for all wounds to be healed so that you may enjoy the beauty of who you are through Jesus Christ.  Rejoicing, peace and encouragement are yours know and forever when you live in the freedom of God’s grace. Enjoy!
