God saved you by his grace when you believed.  And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8,9 NLT

Whatever may be true about sin and whatever has happened to all of us because of it, God has done infinitely greater by his grace through Jesus the Christ. God saved you by His grace (the infinite flow of perfect love) when you believed.  Where sin increased with all its forms of condemnation, right there grace overwhelmed with joy and freedom.  Grace is the power of God’s love given to us all in and through Jesus the Christ.  It is only grace that could make the authority of sin yield.  The result of faith upon our life is grace and therefore grace becomes the first result of the new life bestowed.  Here the healing from all our condemnation begins.  This really is a gift worth opening, it will refresh your life forever.   On this new day know that you are free to enjoy being loved, valued and honored because of God’s grace in and through Jesus Christ.  Here your heartaches have a place to be made whole; your past will no longer be the ruin of today.  You might just find yourself smiling right down to the depth of your soul.  God’s freedom of grace is yours, enjoy!

The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.  1 Samuel 16:7 NIV

One of the great joys in our life is when we feel something that touches the very heart of our being.  The life of God's grace is that it takes a belief in God from the academic into a relationship with him that touches the very soul of who we are. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus.  2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV.  Grace through Jesus Christ impacts our heart like nothing else can. What is natural to grace is that our emotions become new to express love, kindness and encouragement without the feeling of any awkwardness.  Here our marriage, our children, our church"s and our relationships can be refreshed in ways that give us the desire to rejoice in our Lord. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. Today has been given to you as a gift from the Lord, may you enjoy your life in his grace.  Be willing to give God’s grace the freedom to bring rejoicing to your heart and you will find yourself renewed, refreshed and reinvigorated.  Enjoy!

Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.  Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin.  Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law.  Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.  Romans 6:12-14 NLT

Here is the freedom of God’s salvation in Jesus the Christ, that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation2 Corinthians 10:17.  Therefore Sin is no longer your master. Legal obedience was never the condition for our salvation or freedom from the power of our own sin.  God never saved us by law. What the requirements of the law had to do with our salvation was to provide the way for sin to express itself so that we might see our condition and enter into the life of God’s grace through Jesus the Christ.  You live under the freedom of God's grace. In this place condemnation, guilt and shame leaves the room because salvation has nothing to do with human merit, it is given in the freedom of God’s grace through Jesus Christ.  God never withholds grace because of sin; in fact grace is the infinite flow of perfect love.  On this new day may you celebrate the freedom of grace in your desires, your emotions and your conclusions.  Grace will and has provided the way for all wounds to be healed so that you may enjoy the beauty of who you are in and through Jesus the Christ.  Rejoicing, peace and encouragement are yours know and forever.  Enjoy!

God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV

There is something absolutely beautiful and enjoyable when we find ourselves in a place where we are loved, respected and feel valued.  In this place there is no stress, anxiety or feeling of walking on egg shells.  We find ourselves relaxed and refreshed so that we have the freedom of expression, especially the giving of gifts of encouragement, blessings in the details of individual lives and helping in how ever we can, even financially. God is able to make all grace abound in you.  God's grace allows us the freedom to live this way twenty four seven, Wow!  Talk about being refreshed, how about actually living in a place, no matter where we are found, where love is given and life is expressed without condemnation of any kind.  Grace puts a smile in what we say and in what we do.  On this new day, that has never been nor will come again may you find yourself overwhelmed with the life of his grace.  Praise and thanksgiving will naturally flow from your mouth as well as your hands.  What you find to do today will bring joy to you as well as everyone around you.  God's grace just makes a good day and allows you to see and hear with new eyes and ears.  Feel free to have tones in your voice and expressions from your face that cause others to be refreshed as you have by his grace.  Enjoy!

He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.  God who has called  you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.  Corinthians 1:8, 9 NIV

The beauty of the life that is given to us in Jesus the Christ is a freedom to rejoice and relax in the midst of our journey.  He will keep you strong to the end.  The power of his grace is that we will be literaly in his presence someday and in that place we will be blameless, body and soul because of Christ, So that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. This being true, for God cannot lie, lets us encourage instead of being irritated.  Bless instead of cursing, trust instead of being suspicious.  The joy of knowing we are blameless because of the grace of Jesus, is that he keeps us strong in and through the storms of life.  Grace is always refreshing and therefore allows a positive perspective which can be seen as joy.  On this new day may you experience the strength of his grace.  May your old habits that do not take you where you hoped to go, be lost in the life of his grace.  The habit of grace in your life will bring a delightful attitude, a refreshing emotion and wonderful thoughts about God, you and those around you. Today, may those who come in contact with you sense the fragrance of Grace.  Enjoy!

Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.  Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory.  Romans 5:1, 2 NLT

How many of us seem to struggle as to who we are?  Many times we do not seem to even sense peace within ourselves, let alone our families or the work place.  We have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. This puts relationships at rest, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, with the result impacting our family, our friends, the work place and even the church.   This does not mean there will be no conflict.  This peace allows us to forgive well and at times to ask for forgiveness without the feelings of embarrassment or shame.  This being the case, yesterday does not ruin today because our relationships are at peace as far as it depends on us because of the grace of God in Jesus the Christ.  Then we discover in our journey that this is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.  Psalm 118:24 NIV.  This is the freedom given to all in Jesus the Christ and it is called grace.  On this new day let your heart and your mind rejoice in this relaxing freedom.  Your eyes will see much clearer, your ears will hear more beautiful sounds and your soul will be just plain happy.  This is what has been given for you through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Enjoy

No one can serve two masters.  For you will hate one and love the other, you will be devoted to one and despise the other.  You cannot serve both God and money.  That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?  Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.  Matthew 6:24,25,27,33 NLT

From the beginning of creation our first parents, Adam and Eve living in the presence of God only experienced thanksgivng that was full of joy.  But then came their decision, which was the entrance of sin in them. They began to reason within themselves that their logic and understanding might grant them something God had not given to them. It was there that the battles began with God and with each other. No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other, you will be devoted to one and despise the other.  Men and Women all over the world are still suffering from this logic and understanding.  Many times we find ourselves much more devoted to what is in our hand than what we know the Lord has said and who He is.  It is in this condition that grace can overwhelm us, so that what is in our hand does not own our emotions or our understanding. Grace gives a great freedom of being cleansed and refreshed so that we may be delighting in our Lord no matter where we may be found. It always brings peace with joy!  May you know and experience on this new day the blessings of grace, where you will find no worry, no stress, no forms of lust and no tension.  Let his grace bathe your emotions and mind with the freedom of praise.  Enjoy!

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.  Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.  1 Timothy 6:10 NIV

Our natural (sinful) nature has a tendency to disagree with what our Lord says.  Here, money is not the problem, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.  The root of the love of money brings anxiety; the root of the love of money brings all forms of lust; the root of the love of money brings worry and is the ruin of many a family.  It is here where the grace of God in Jesus the Christ can refresh us into a new creation.  For all the wealth that is in the world, through all the generations of man is still here, it always stays and we leave.  The ability to earn money is meant to bring glory to God, delight to us and a blessing to others.  It is designed so that we may become our Lord's cashiers, having the joy of seeing what his plan may be and saying I can fulfill that need.  On this new day may you be overwhelmed by his grace concerning your money.  His reasoning will always be more refreshing than your own.  Give thanks continually, encourage everyone around you always and find ways to bless what our Lord is doing through what he has put into your hands.  Enjoy!

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him. Psalm 92:12-15 NIV What an interesting journey life is. We can hardly wait to grow up and become an adult. But along that journey we seem to have some less than steller feelings about what we look like and who we are. It is in this condition that grace can rebirth, renew, refresh and give great freedom. For in the freedom of grace we find a joy and strength that comes from the very life of God, it is called eternal, it is righteousness, it is peace and it is full of joy. No matter what our age is, grace can and does make our life new every morning with the joy of thanksgiving. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him." How about that description of grace in a man or woman who has been re-born in the grace of Jesus the Christ! On this new day may you enjoy the promise of grace in your life. You are the expressions, the voice and the attitude of God's love to everyone around you. What you say and do in the grace of our Lord can bring a beautiful delight to everyone you meet and at the same time let you feel brand new, fresh and green, proclaiming, "the LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him!!! Enjoy!

The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7 NIV

One of the beautiful things along our journey through life is when we feel something and we describe it as feeling it with all our heart which can be describe as our emotions.  This is not an academic statement, it is something that touches the very fiber of our being.  The beauty of God's grace is that it takes our belief in the Lord from the academic into a relationship with him that touches the very soul of who we are.  Our Lords Grace in Jesus the Christ impacts our heart like nothing else can and in this place our desires and emotions become free from the power of our own sinful nature to live our new nature which is love, kindness and encouragement without the feeling of embarrassment.  Here our marriage, our children, our churches and our relationships can be refreshed in ways that cause us to praise and give thanks to the Lord.  On this new day that has been given to you as a gift from the Lord, may you enjoy this freedom of his grace. Express it, say it out loud and may your heart be refreshed and encouraged along this new journey!!!  Delight  yourself in the LORD... Psalm 37:4 NIV.  In this place you will find no regret or sorrow.  Enjoy!

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.  Romans 1:21,22 NIV

It is one thing to believe that there is a God or to believe in God.  The beauty of grace, which is God's love given In Jesus Christ brings a new birth in us, They are reborn - not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

John 1:13 NLT.  This it is meant to change how we think of God and therefore how we feel and think about ourselves. Grace lets us know God in a way that refreshes and  brings the desire to express thanksgiving with great joy.  Living in grace always brings thanks. The man or woman that lives thankful automatically gives glory to God.  On this new day may you delight in finding ways to be thankful.  Let God's grace express through your words the beauty of a thankful heart.  In this place you will always be known as an encourager and a blessing.  Some of the most difficult situations are changed with a heart of thanksgiving.  Enjoy!

This happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.  On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers.  Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

2 Corinthians 1:9-11 NIV

Pray or prayers, what awkward words these are for so many of us.  We often are not sure how or what to pray for, therefore we miss much of the joy in relationship with our Lord and the blessings that can be given to others.  Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.  In God’s grace that is through Jesus Christ, prayer becomes a natural response from us to the Lord who raises the dead.  In prayer we can express our thanks for a life that is described as a new creation.  When thanksgiving is our foundation of our prayer, we will find ourselves delighting and having emotions of joy in our Lord.  Today may you begin to spend time prayers of thanksgiving to your Lord.  What comes next in your heart and mind, bring before him with the assurance that what you are praying is now in the process of being accomplished for others.  Then many will give thanks and want to know the same grace and life that is yours.  Enjoy!

God made him (Jesus the Christ) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.  2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV

Sometimes through our life we seem to be confused about God’s grace in Jesus Christ.  We receive it and then go about trying to convince ourselves that somehow through our own efforts we might finally be free of our condemnation, worry, stress and guilt of our own sin. That is so far from reality. Here is the results of God’s grace, God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.  He took us, with all our sin and put it all on Jesus Christ, so that we might become the righteousness of God.  God’s righteousness delivers us from the penalty and power of our own sin so that we can live our life as a new creation which he calls the righteousness of God. Today may you in the depth of your heart experience the renewal and life of his grace.  Allow his grace to be yours in every detail of your life as you choose to thankful before him in his grace.  May those who meet you today experience the kindness of our Lord through your words, your actions and your expressions. In His righteousness there is no condemnation,  no worry, no stress and absoultly no guilt!!! It is a great way to live.  Enjoy!

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:4 NIV

This Psalm is one of my favorites.  To delight is a very energizing thought and emotion.  It does not say - exhaust yourself, strain yourself, worry yourself, or condemn yourself;  it says delight yourself in the LORD.  To delight means to find enjoyment, pleasure in and experience joy.  What is so refreshing about God’s grace is that it creates a genuine delight for the LORD and that changes everthing, from the moment I wake up to when I lay my head down to sleep!!! As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God! Psalm 42;1 NIV. Today let His Grace penetrate your soul and you will find yourself delighting in the LORD.  If you will allow this grace of delighting yourself in the LORD to be who you are each new day, things will happen in your journey that will be overwhelming with delight and joy. Those around you will experience that life that is called eternal.  Smiling and refreshment will be just who you are and each day will seem like you opened a new gift.  Enjoy!

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians3:16,17 NLT What a beautiful word, "let", it means to allow or permit something to happen, WOW!!! The grace of God that is in Jesus the Christ sets us free from the authority and power of our sinful nature so that we can now allow or permit the message about Christ, in all its richness, to fill our lives. A good question for us to ask is - "When someone uses our name, what comes to their mind?" In the grace of Jesus the Christ there is a freedom, a richness and a joy in who we are. In fact, grace creates new emotions which sound and look like – singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. Today let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Think of who you are now because of the grace of our Lord. Whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks... This message of grace in Jesus Christ can give refreshment and rebirth in relationships to those around you. Today is a good day for people to know your name. Enjoy!

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High.  It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the eveningPsalm 92:1,2 NLT

The emotions of always giving thanks are at all times good for us. It is good to give thanks to the LORD.  Almost everybody on the planet wishes to have relationships that can be called good, yet many of us are groaning from the inside out because our relationships within our family, our friends and even our church are not good.  Many relationships are broken not because the giving of thanks but because of words and actions that had nothing to do with being thankful.  Well, here is some very good news.  God's grace can heal emotional wounds, so that grace becomes what we are to our family and our friends.  Grace frees us up to give thanks and proclaim his unfailing love in the morning and his faithfulness in the evening.  That carries over into all areas of our life.  Today may you choose to give thanks and proclaim your unfailing love to the LORD in the morning and the evening.  This day will bring the beginning of making all things new in your journey with family, with friends and even at church.  Enjoy!

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.  Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin!  Psalm 51:1,2 NLT

Here in these words we have a man who has become exhausted from all the choices he has made and there results. Most men and women usually think of God as seeing all their failures, all their irritations and then offers nothing but condemnation.  Many do not think of God according to his great compassion, which is His grace. Here is what His grace can do for all of us. Blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. Grace is his unfailing love (NIV) given through Jesus Christ that accomplishes this forever.  Here we experience, compassion, kindness, peace and a life that is absolutely breathtaking.  Today are you willing to experience His great compassion that removes all the shame of your sins and your guilt? When God’s grace penetrates your heart like this, your nature is changed. May words like delight, rejoice, praise, thanksgiving and encouragement be words used by everyone you know, to describe you. In that condition your hope will be a full cup. Enjoy!

Is there a conflict, then, between God’s law and God’s promises?  Absolutely not!  If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it.  But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.  Galatians 3:21, 22 NLT

What is so amazing about God’s promise is that it gives something to us that we cannot ever accomplish or obtain by ourselves. If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it. So we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.  It is called grace and known as a new life.  This new life is given through what God promised his grace would do through Jesus the Christ.  Sin is the conflict of our soul and it has no ability to love; it can only lust because it is always self-seeking.  The law says do, Grace says done!  The freedom of God’s grace lets us choose how we will respond to our opportunities.  We can now see clearly the difference between new life (freedom) and being a prisoner to our sinful emotions.  Today let your heart be refreshed in who you are because God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.  His grace lets you choose what direction your thoughts and emotions will go.  We now know why we sing – “Amazing grace that saved a wretch like me.” Enjoy!
